Thecompetitiveness clusters AXELERA and POLYMERIS, in collaboration with theTECHTERA competitiveness cluster, Team 2, the professional organizationElanova, the Strategic Committees for Waste Transformation and Recovery, andChemistry and Materials, with support from Michelin, are organizing the secondNational Polymer Recycling Conference on November 5-6, 2024, at Hall 32 inClermont-Ferrand.

This event,designed as the key gathering around this year's theme, aims to:

• Present regulatory developments     related to polymer waste management and its reincorporation into new     products at both national and European levels.
• Showcase major initiatives     underway at the national level.
• Share insights from key     industry stakeholders.
• Highlight innovative projects     and actors in polymer recycling.
• Present funding opportunities     for innovation projects under the “France 2030” plan.

This eventis open to all types of actors (start-ups, SMEs, mid-size companies, largegroups, academic laboratories, universities, technical centers, andinstitutions): organizations responsible for waste collection and sorting,waste preparers, developers of polymer recycling solutions, equipmentsuppliers, chemists, and integrators of recycled materials.

The eventwill feature several highlights:

• Plenary sessions to provide     valuable information.
• Networking activities to foster     connections and exchanges among participants.
• Exhibition spaces (booths) to     showcase technologies and/or companies.

Michelinand IFTH will present the progress of the WhiteCycle project during the sessionon Tuesday, November 5, focused on textile recycling.

Michelinwill introduce the project and its objectives, while IFTH will share varioustests and results obtained over the first 18 months of the project.

WhiteCycle will also have a booth in theshowroom area.
