IRIS is an Advanced Engineering company specialized in Real-Time Monitoring solutions based on Photonics-based Process Analytical Technology (PAT) systems and Industrial Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning and Deep Learning) for data-driven process efficiencies and quality standardization in the Food, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Bio-based and other process industries. IRIS acts as WP1 leader dedicated to PET identification and separation from complex waste. Specifically, IRIS will develop, design and implement an advanced AI-real-time monitoring solution able to recognize PET in complex multilayer textiles for sorting. The final system will be demonstrated and validated in Synergies facilities.
IRIS also participates in WP6, WP7 and WP8 to boost the uptake of the technologies developed in the project contributing to digitalization, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, exploitation and managing activities.
